I know, I’ve been ignoring this place for too long and I apologize, I will fix that small issue.

This weekend was crazy busy and ended in a way I was extremely happy about and a way that sucked. Lets go back to Friday…Friday sucked. First I had a client meeting to attend to in Princeton at 10am, please keep in mind Princenton, NJ isn’t right around the corner and pain in the ass to get to. Once the meeting was over, I returned home to wait until the end of the day so that I could go work on a client network “after hours” which is ALWAYS my preferably Friday Night!! Anyway, when I returned home on Friday afternoon, there was a huge as box waiting for me in the driveway. See, we ordered Dylan a brand new bed, a brand new, big boy, full twin sized bed. And the special thing about this bed, its a car…a big blue car. So we bought it online and now it was in the middle of my driveway. I eventually got the box into the living room where I could deal with it on Saturday.

Got home from the client at like 2am and of course Dylan was up early on Saturday. Terri, Dylan and I put his car frame together and then went to go by a mattress and box spring. First we went to a so-called “Mattress Professional” who a) were over priced and b) insulted my son. I kid you not, this came out of the sales mans mouth… “So let me get this straight, you walk and talk and poop in your diaper?? How does that work?”…. Yea, I’m not in sales but im sure Sales 101 says to not insult the customer…We eventually found a nice mattress set but I had to pick them up with my truck from the warehouse. Wouldn’t have been so bad but the rain here was unbelievable on Saturday. Dylan loves his bed SOOOO much because its a big car with Pixar Cars sheets and pillow case and room for all his stuffed animal friends.

Sunday Terri and I woke up exhausted. For the longest time our mattress has sucked so we finally decided it was time to go look for a new one. We went back to where we bought Dylans and bought a king size for ourselves. It’s comfy, its big, its not dented like our previous one but I didn’t get a good nights sleep because it’s not “my bed” yet. It sleeps different so I took a while to fall asleep last night, which sucks because DST is already kicking my ass. All day Sunday I felt like I was in a fog looking for my lost hour..

Sunday night I had my final regular Winter season hockey game. We played a team that I used to play in other leagues and have always struggled against. I desperately wanted to win this game and thankfully, we finally did 4-3. One of my defenseman put home the game winner with 14.7 ticks left in the third. So our regular season ends with a 4-6 record which is much better than I thought it would be for 10 guys that just met each other 10 weeks ago. Playoffs kick off next week and then its on to the Spring season….
