Music Is My Girlfriend….
It’s one of those random post days…
I have a question for emergency light bar manufacturers..Do you think you could make the lights on top of cop cars and other emergency vehicles a little brighter so as to completely blind drivers of oncoming cars? Last Thursday evening (Thanksgiving night) I had to run out to buy a gallon of milk for Dylan and came up to an accident that pretty much closed down the highway. There were number of cops and ambulances on the scene (a pretty serious accident) and the lights on top of these cars were so bright, I almost hit the cop that was telling me to stop. The lights on the cars were no match for the little flashlight he was waving at me to tell me to stop, not to mention that it was night time and his dark clothes, along with the blinding lights, made him fade into the darkness.
Then on the way home from work last night there was a cop on the side of the road helping a stranded car but the lights on top were so bright that I was seeing blue and red spots for a good 3 minutes after I drove by.

I am a little tired of hearing about the NFL Network. Yea, maybe it’s because FIOS carries the NFL Network so I get to watch my Cowboys tonight but seriously, if you are a football fan and seeing EVERY game is important to you, then switch to a provider that carries the network. I guess if you live in a place where you can’t mount a dish, then you would have an argument but don’t people that live in condos and townhouses find places to mount the dish anyway?

In my business this is the time of the year that is supposed to be slow. Companies usually have some blackout period in December (usually last 2 or 3 weeks of the month) when it comes to infrastructure changes but my workload is getting larger by the minute with companies trying to get things changed before Jan. 1st. I’m scheduled to work one weekend in December and there are 3 projects that currently are requesting my attention for that weekend. Hopefully they don’t start moving them to other weekends or I’m going to put on my pouty Peyton face…

I’m thinking about playing hockey again in 2008. I got an email the other day from the rink near my house and said they needed players and did I want to play again. I want to because I don’t get any exercise except chasing Dylan around but then there is the “I don’t get exercise this is going to kick my ass†thoughts running through my head. I plan on playing, even if this means my 32-year-old-out-of-shape-ass has to play against 20-year-old-in-shape-all-I-do-is-play-hockey kids.
