Weekend Update
Where do the weekends go? I mean seriously. It feels lke I was just racing out of the office at 5pm on Friday to get to a meeting at my daycare and the next thing I know, its Monday morning and I didn’t even get the gutters cleaned like I was supposed to.
Friday evening, meeting at ye ol Day Care to discuss their current screw up situation about moving to a new location. Not exactly the news we wanted but not 100% bad news either, just not a great way to start the weekend. The new space was supposed to be ready Dec. 1 and now the date has been pushed back to Feb 1 and I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes back more at this point. Might end up taking Dylan to another location that this guy owns if they get booted from their current space (lease was up Oct. 1) before the new space is ready….Aggrevating!!
Friday night…. Dylan cried in the middle of the night, we ran down and found he threw up all over his bed and somehow had the talent to not get it on him. He also had a pretty high fever so let the fun begin.
Saturday morning we made it to the doctors office. They don’t know what he has but we have to keep on top of it. Let me just tell you, the doctor only sees “sick” kids on Saturday morning and the office was quiet when we went in but when we came out, holy sick kids batman.
Saturday afternoon we got a few chores done and before we knew it, it was Saturday evening. I did make this awesome Grilled Chicken Parm dish for dinner that I got off of the Foodtv website. It was EXTREMELY yummy.
Sunday - Dylan was still running a fever throughout the day but the thing I love about Dylan is he can have a 102.8 fever and still be running around and giggling like there is nothing wrong at all. I got a few more things cleaned up around the house and then watched some football…F U Tom Brady….and then made dinner. Dylan took a long nap in the afternoon so he got to hang out on me and eventually fell asleep on me while we watched some TV.\
All in all not an extrememly productive weekend but Dylan did find another new word this weekend….. MINE!! I think he’s starting to realize that there are things that are his and things that aren’t his. It’s extremely cute and very ‘Finding Nemo’ like with him running around the house going Mine…Mine…Mine…Mine…
